Lady Tigers have their hands raised in first home dual of the season against Lourdes
The #4 Lady Tigers hosted (RV) Lourdes University at their home facility Tuesday evening. Campbellsville reigned victoriously in 11 of the 12 matchups, resulting in a 41-6 team victory.
Notably, #19 Jacqueline Ghent defeated foe Maria Hoffman in a 0:49 fall. Next up, #4 Angela Vitiritti shut out her opponent with a technical fall (13-0 1:58). Fellow Lady Tiger Juliana Baugher conquered #13 Julia Padilla in a 10-2 decision.
After Lourdes opted for their second forfeit in the 143-pound weight class, #4 Kendra Thompson went to war with her opponent and she earned the 4-0 decision. #5 Liliana Vergara solidified her win over Lourdes's Bailey Hackett in a 11 second pin, her quickest of the season.
