The Pioneers of Campbellsville University Harrodsburg couldn't find their way to the victory on Saturday afternoon at Miami University - Middletown. The Pioneers fell 88-74.
Keelan Kennedy would lead all Pioneers with 24 points and 12 rebounds, he would be the only Pioneer to reach double figures in scoring. Terrence McDaniels Jr. added nine points while DeJuann Stepp added eight.
The Pioneers would shoot 26-60 from the field, including 7-21 from three point range. Jahnoi Lee would give CUH two of those three point field goals off the bench, while Stepp and Kennedy would each also add two field goals from long range. CUH would find success at the free throw line, shooting 15-20 in their attempts. CUH would also win the battle of the boards, winning the rebounding battle 35-30. Turnovers would hurt the Pioneer offense as 12 turnovers led to nine Miami - Middletown points. CUH would have a strong bench showing offensively, as they would add 27 points.
CUH will look to bounce back with a Mideast match up on the road Tuesday, November 22nd at Welch College in Gallatin, TN.
