Campbellsville University to help cover cost of textbooks beginning in fall 2023

Campbellsville University will help cover the cost of textbook for students in Taylor and surrounding counties beginning with the Fall 2023 semester.

As part of the new program, Campbellsville University will cover the cost of textbooks up to $300 for students from Taylor, Adair, Marion, LaRue, Green and Casey counties who enroll at Campbellsville University.

“The hardest thing our local students should have to do in college is study,” Dr. Jason Meriwether, vice president for enrollment management, said. “We are excited to support our local students in Taylor County and Campbellsville Schools, along with schools in Adair, Marion, LaRue, Green and Casey counties.

“Having free books, up to $300, helps our local students enjoy the quality Christian education available at Campbellsville University without the burdensome cost of books while they earn a degree.”

The university’s alumni donors have made this new program possible.

“Campbellsville University has had many faithful donors throughout her history,” Dr. Benji Kelly, vice president for development, said. “This scholarship is funded by generous donors who want to continue to help make higher education affordable for this next generation of students.”

Campbellsville University is a widely acclaimed Kentucky-based Christian university that offers over 100 programs of study including doctoral, masters, bachelors, associate and certification programs. The website for complete information is www.campbellsville.edu.
