Ace Hardware of Liberty to give away American flags

Ace Hardware of Liberty will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Kentucky lost 750 soldiers in the Korean war and 763 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 140 Liberty Sq, Liberty will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Columbia Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Ace Hardware of Liberty while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Ace Hardware of Liberty is located at 140 Liberty Sq, Liberty, Kentucky. This location is owned by Scott Blair and represented by Jacob Barr.
