MONTICELLO MIDDLE SCHOOL: Thanksgiving Meals for the Needy on November

Fund

Monticello Middle School recently issued the following announcement.

The Wayne County High School JROTC and FCA are once again teaming up to feed the shut-ins and less fortunate of Wayne County on Thanksgiving Day. The students will prepare a meal in the high school cafeteria consisting of turkey, mashed potatoes, peas, and dressing. This year we encourage anyone who has transportation to come to the high school to pick up their meals. In addition, as in years past, the students will be delivering meals to those who cannot come to the high school with a limit of 10 meals per household.

If you or anyone you know would benefit from a hot meal and some Thanksgiving cheer, please contact Karen Campbell or Roxanne Stringer at the Wayne County High School by November 22nd. NO NAMES WILL BE TAKEN AFTER 4 p.m. or the 22nd. The phone number is 348-5575. The meals will be served and delivered between the hours of 10 a.m. and noon on Thanksgiving Day. Please call to make reservations before the November 22nd deadline.
